You know what? I am so definitely going to try to make it. I really liked flying trapeze. It seems a bit easier than static (though obviously it gets harder over time) and it's definitely less painful at the moment. I'd say the trapeze might have been a little shorter than 15 feet, but well over 10, so I'm not really sure. I just don't break easily. (And, to be fair, I landed knees and face and there was the mat, so *shrug*) And we learned one trick...though I have no idea what it's called, but I do know it's practice for catching, so you fuck to straddle, then knees, and if there was a person, then you let go and they catch. Or if there isn't, you let go and fall. Yay I can't wait to play! And I'll happily show the video, though for my hoop routine I dropped...a lot. I didn't drop that much normally.Oh well.

YAY! that's all i have to say about that. give me a call when you're heading up - & keep in mind that the rig's outside, so weather cancellations are always possible.
& i met a girl last week who does silks, but she called it 'chiffon' - french for 'silk.' dur. but i'd never heard it called that before!
& hula hooping is my new love.

& hula hooping is my new love. Me toooooo. The other two girls were really impressed with what I learned, though I don't know how impressive it is in the real world. I don't have any hula hoops at home though, so I'm gonna see if I can get some stuff together to make 'em. And static trapeze. I really like static trapeze. Rigging please!

Sarah A's buying one. We'll get rigging. I promise!
Also, hooping - Chad has started making firehoops. My plan for as soon as we get back is to purchase one fire hoop (collapsable into 6 pieces, so storing in the cabinet shouldn't be a problem. ), one staff, and two pairs of poi from him, using COCD money.
