This is from Chad, whom some of you know; If you have any questions, or are interested, email him at chad@freedomthrufire.com The Boston Burlesque Expo is looking for a few folks that would be interested in showing off their “street / circus” like performing skills in exchange for some cool weekend learning and shows (you really don’t have to be a top performer for this one – think of it as a practice in front of people). The expo is located in downtown Boston and will be taking place on the 16th – 19th. They are teaching some useful classes for any type of performing art and have some great shows going on each night. There is also an extensive vendor room if you are in need of costuming or other performing supplies. Please let me emphasize, even though there will be a lot of Burlesque technical type stuff there, this event has a lot of things that can be applied to any performing art (ex. how to make a press kit, taxes for a performing artist, copy right laws, and so on). Below is a link to the expo website and a volunteer description and signup page (and you have to sign up). Thanks and hope to see you there, Chad www.burlesque-expo.com/ www.burlesque-expo.com/Volunteer.html

oh, wow! That would be so incredibly awesome. I saw those classes, they are nothing short of incredible! They are exactly what our group needs. And we can get in by doing things we want to do anyway... YEAH!
