For those of you who liked the 5 College Relay, or those of you who wish you could have gone... My hometown Relay (Bethel, CT, about 2 hours southwest from Amherst) is June 8-9, and Mom's been begging me to get together a circus performance. Anyone wanna come? We can't do fire (public school grounds are a bit anti-flame) but glow anything is good, or juggling/ acro/stilts...whatever! People can either crash there or at my house (and I'll make pancakes) and...come see me 'cuz you miss me already! It doesn't need to be anything terribly formal; what we did at the 5 College one was fine. Come play!

I'll probably go... I have a paid gig on the 9th lined up, but might not even be doing it.

I can go, because I found out I'm not working that weekend, provided I can find a ride down there!

YAY! I can't really help you with a ride; it's a bit out of my way. (But hint hint: nag Lindsay who has a car and then maybe she'll come and drag Jacob along too.) Update: DIRECTIONS! (For people who are bored that night [June 8-9] and wanna show up.) 84 into CT, exit 9. Once you get off the ramp, take a left. At the stoplight, take a right. Continue straight for a while. There are two very close stoplights in front of a Big Y. Take a left at that second stoplight. Turn right at your second stop sign. Go straight forever, but take a left at the stop light. Keep right as the road curves. You'll know you're there 'cuz there's a bazillion cars (I advise you park wherever the hell you can). The track is on the left and the parking lot across from it is reserved for survivors/handicapped. My parents' site is apparently right at the entrance on the left (not the entrance near the school, which may not even be accessible 'cuz of construction.) Theirs is the big "ADVOCACY" tent. Looks all official 'n stuff. It's jointed up with a yoga troupe, I think? I won't be at the tent 'cuz I'll be walking around, but one of my parents will be, so say hi and then hang out there 'til I come 'round.
